Bio

Christina has more than 20 years of experience recruiting and placing mission-driven leaders, leading searches for professionals serving in a range of executive leadership roles in education, youth development, and social justice organizations. Christina’s work with Resources for Indispensable Schools and Educators (RISE) and New Leaders for New Schools led her to launch Redwood Circle Consulting in 2010, where she provided executive search and talent management strategy services to education nonprofits, school organizations, and social venture companies. In 2016, she co-founded Edgility, where oversees the Executive Search Team, coaching and developing our recruitment staff and ensuring the same level of support is delivered to clients and candidates by every member of the team. Christina has personally overseen dozens of CEO searches and particularly loves the process of working with board and search leads to help them guide their fellow volunteers, staff and community through a vital transition process. She developed and leads Edgility’s CEO evaluation practice, which benefits nonprofits and schools across the country. In addition to her work through Edgility, Christina spent 12 years as a board member for two different education organizations and is an active volunteer within her synagogue community.

Christina has a BA in Political Science for UCLA and a MPA from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. She lives in Oakland, CA with her family (including her husband Brian, two teenage kids and two dogs). In her spare time, she loves hiking and swimming, cooking, eating, listening to and making music, and traveling within California and beyond.
